MycoRed & SAFETechnoPACK

The 4^th International Congress on Food and Nutriton and the 3^rd SAFE Consortium International Congress on Food Safety will be held on12-14th October, 2011 at the İstanbul Congress Center in İstanbul, Turkey.

The main goal of the congress is to build on the success of the previous ones by highlighting the most important areas of recent Research & Development as well as exploring relevant topics that will be the most interesting for the future. It is also aimed to provide contemporary scientific information on the disciplines of food, nutrition, health, and especially food safety through the 21^st century.

The joint congress will be held in parallel with two FP7 events:MycoRed (Novel Integrated Strategies for Worldwide Mycotoxin Reduction in Food and Feed Chains) -2^nd Mediterranean Workshop on Mycotoxins and Toxigenic Fungi andSAFETechnoPACK-International Food Packaging Conference.

All of the combined events will provide a forum for exchange of ideas and authoritative views by leading scientists (such as food scientists and technologists, nutritionists, and medical professionals) as well as business leaders and investors in this exciting field. Outstanding keynote speakers and well-known leading scientists and experts from around the globe are expected to share their knowledge.

Stands shall be placed in exhibition areas for companies in the food sector to advertise their products and services throughout the Congress. This would lead to new business and research opportunities between members of different food sectors and researchers.

There will also be a poster competition at the congress to encourage scientific activity by young scientists. To be eligible, students must be registered and be present at the congress. First, second, and third place awards will include a certificate and a cheque.
